AFQT practice estimate

Find your AFQT range.

Enter correct-answer counts from one practice set with the exact totals below. Official score-report numbers and percentages do not work here. Select a code for its definition.

Practice estimate only - never an official AFQT score.

Your range

No AFQT estimate yet. Enter all four valid subtest counts to show a range.

0/4subtests entered

Start with any subtest. Zero correct is a valid count.

  • WKWord Knowledge Needed
  • PCParagraph Comprehension Needed
  • ARArithmetic Reasoning Needed
  • MKMathematics Knowledge Needed

Enter the number correct in all four sections to continue.

Use the right numbers. Know the limits.

Which numbers belong here?

Use the number of questions you answered correctly in each of the four practice subtests. Each denominator must match the total beside its field. For example, if you answered 8 questions correctly, enter 8, not a percentage or the number you missed. Enter zero only when you completed that subtest and got none correct; leave an unfinished subtest blank.

Do not rescale a shorter quiz to fit, combine unrelated rounds, or paste standard scores, line scores or an AFQT percentile from an official report. The 5-question guest demo covers one available subtest and does not supply the four counts this calculator needs. You can still use that demo to find something useful to study.

Why is this a range?

An official AFQT percentile describes a comparison with a reference group, not your percentage of correct answers. It uses Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension and Word Knowledge. Read the official explanation of ASVAB scores (opens in a new tab).

This calculator uses a simplified practice model, not the official scoring process. The low-confidence range expresses uncertainty; it is not a guarantee that a future score will fall inside it. Your entries produce the estimate in this browser.

What should you do next?

Use practice to choose a skill to review, then try another question and check the explanation. A range alone cannot tell you which mistake to fix. If you have valid counts, the plan action above lets you review them during setup before using them in your study plan.

For enlistment or a particular job, use your official results and confirm current requirements with a recruiter. ASVAB Daily is an independent study tool, not an official score-report converter or eligibility decision.
